This is a pass which we were to come through a couple of days later. It looked even more challenging from the water.	All along the coast you see evidence of WWII emplacements. Here is a photo of a pill-box where the ground has eroded away from the structure.
I've got a couple hundred more pictures of these tombs, but I will only bore you with one. This necropolis dated from 3000BC to 1500BC. You could actually go down and crawl around in the thing, if you really wanted to.	Our dock in Alghero was right next to the old walled city.
