There were many tours. Here were a group of WWII vets returning and touring the various sites. It was a week before the 60th Anniversary, so the Army was getting ready for a visit from President Bush.
The trees were getting a trim. This is an extremely interesting photo. This is a group of French school children. Each child has a boquet of flowers. They studied in school the particular part that a platoon played in the D-Dav invasion, then they went an put their flowers on the graves of the soldiers of that platoon.
At the grocery store in St. Vaast, they had a wall of original photos from D-Day. They also had a selection of fresh fish.
